Hi! Welcome to The Bunny Foundation. Established in 2020, the foundation is named in honor of Bernice "Bunny" Conrad - a  beautiful, loving, funny and brilliant 7th grade school teacher who passed away.  She taught for over thirty years and gave every student she had a piece of her heart. It's in her memory the foundation exists to help provide low-income, less fortunate kids the tools and resources they need to help foster a great education. The goal is to assist families and schools all across the United States. As it grows, the foundation will become it's own fully functioning 501(c) (3) IRS recognized charitable organization. For the time being, it will serve as a conduit and ambassador for the four star Charity Navigator rated CRAYONS to CLASSROOOMS.  Crayons to Classrooms (DC2C) is a free store for teachers from under-funded preK-12 schools that serve students living in poverty.
In partnership with local businesses, individual donors, and community volunteers, DC2C lifts at-risk student’s level and love of learning by collecting and distributing donated supplies and surplus products for use in the classroom. Teachers from eligible schools are invited to shop for what they need in our retail-style free store in a Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley building in Dayton, Ohio. Because they are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, contributions to Crayons to Classrooms are tax deductible.
